VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) FOR PSDP PROJECT "SANITARY AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM GILGIT CITY"

Gilgit Development Authority (GDA) represented by Project Director, Project Management Unit (PMU) invites applications for the following contractual position as per the provisions of approved PC-I for implementation of the PSDP Project titled "Sanitary and Sewerage System Gilgit City.

Prescribed qualification, eligibility criteria, and age limit as shown below against each position:-

Terms and Conditions:

1. Initial appointment of the selected candidate will be made for one year period extendable based on satisfactory performance, availability of funds and continuation of the project/till project life.

2. Candidates having domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan are only eligible to apply. While for post at Sr.5, candidates having domicile of district Gilgit are only eligible to apply.

3. All the above position will be filled as per project need.

4. Selected candidates will be offered salary package as per the range of approved PC-I

5. Candidates applying for more than one position should apply separately.

6. Incomplete documents will not be entertained.

7. Application received after the Closing date will not be entertained.

8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview. Government employees must submit No Objection certificate (N.O.C) alongwith their applications.

9. Relaxation in upper age limit will be treated as per Govt. rules.

10. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

11. Disable and women Quota will be considered as per Govt. rules.

12. No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.

13. The Department reserves the right to increase or decrease number of posts mentioned in the advertisement or to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

14. This advertisement is also available on web site of Gilgit Development Authority (GDA).

15. Applications (in hard form) along with CV (for posts at Sr.No.1 to 4 only), 02 No. recent passport size photographs, attested academic degrees/certificates and experience certificates can be submitted within 15 calendar days after publication of this advertisement on Newspapers at following address:-

The Screening Tests being conducted for Election Commission – GB by Education Testing Council (ETC), HEC are on schedule. The stay granted earlier against conducting of these tests on 29.02.2024 has since been vacated by the Honourable Court on 01.03.2024. 2.
