Screening Test Requirement/ Syllabus

Interested candidates are required to qualify the screening tests to be conducted by ETC-HEC. The syllabus for the test and its content weightages can be accessed at the website link http://etc.hec.gov.pk

How to Apply/Register for the Test

1. Interested candidates can apply online by registering themselves on http://etc.hec.gov.pk within 30 days after publishing of this advertisement. The registration process must be completed by pressing the "Submit" button for the online application before the 4 pm

During the online registration process, all the required information must be entered

correctly with due diligence. A mobile number ported from the original mobile company
must not be provided.

3. Application received by hand or through courier/ email shall not be accepted/ entertained.

4. The candidates should make sure before appearing in the examination/ test that they are eligible in all respects for the post applied for.

5. In case of any difficulty during the online registration, please visit http://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk or visit HEC Secretariat or contact HEC regional offices for guidance.

G. Test Fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be deposited via Link Bill Invoice participating Banks/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/JazzCash etc

Once you have selected 1link 1bill Invoice payment service. Open /sign into your mobile app

and click on 1Bill payment or payment services (as per your mobile banking app options).

8. Click on Bill Invoice payment services and enter the consumer number generated by the ETC portal. Once you see the details, pay the amount.

9. After deposited the fee through link 1Bill Invoice, click on Verify Online Payment on ETC Dashboard.

10. Upon successful submission of the application, candidates will be able to download or print their respective Roll Number Slips, which will be required for entry into the test center.

11. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

13. The candidate must get any queries/ complaints resolved before the closure of the web registration portal. Queries/ Complaints handling beyond the registration deadline is denied by the system due to logistics/security reasons.

Note: It is Mandatory to bring the Original CNIC/ Passport and Roll no slip issued by ETC via email or downloaded from the candidate's portal, otherwise the candidate shall not be allowed to sit in the exam.

Terms & Conditions

1. Maximum age limit shall be 35 years (on the closing date of submission of application forms) inclusive of all relaxations. Further age relaxation for government employees will be given as per rules.

2. Minimum academic qualification is 2nd Class FA/ FSc or equivalent with a professional degree/certificate of ADE/ CT or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.

3. Candidates are required to apply for the position of their respective Tehsil/ Union Council and Hard Area only. Candidature of those applicants who apply in dual UCs/ Tehsils/ Hard Areas or other than their own UC/ Tehsil/ Hard Area shall be rejected.

4. Candidates of respective hard areas should produce permanent domicile of the area

and certificate of residence duly verified by concerned Assistant Commissioner on

Stamp paper. Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) will be considered as final.

5. Government employees should apply through proper channel. However, they mayconsidered upon recommendationtheirappear in the test but shall onlyrespective department.

6. Professional certificates of only recognized board/ university will be entertained.

7. Academic/ Professional degrees/ certificates acquired/ completed after closing dateshall not be considered.

8. Original documents with verifiecopies (verification must be obtained fromconcerned board/ university with their stamp) will be checked at the timeInterview. Therefore, shortlisting a candidate for interview does not guarantee theinterview unless the submitted original documents are determined to be in orderand verified where required.

9. Extra marksinterview will be given to biometrically verified Contingent Paid Staffas per government policy.

10. The period served by the candidate workingcontingent basis, appointed prior to30-06-2016 and includedbiometrically verified list maintained by Financedepartment Gilgit-Baltistan shall be excludedthe purposedetermination ofupper age limit in addition to relaxation of upper age limit as per existing rule.

11. Quota for minorities and Special persons will be reserved as per rules. The quota forspecial persons will be subject to provision of medical certificate from MedicalAssessment Board of DHQ hospital of respective district on merit basis.

12. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

13. Number of posts may increase or decrease.

14. Certificates/ degrees issued by Skill Development/ MIIMs and other similarinstitutions will not be entertained as decided by the department earlier.

15. No TA/ DA is admissible for appearing in the test or interview.

16. Marks distribution will be made as per approved Recruitment Policy, 2016 (70 forwritten test, 15 for academic qualification and 15 for interview).
