Who
is sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky?
Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky is great and true Islamic
scholar of Nigeria who’s teaching helped the real Islamic philosophy to be
flourished in Nigeria.
Today I would
try to elaborate his short biography
Nigeria is
located in west of an African continent .it is listed in the most populous
countries of Africa with a population of 15 crores in which 55% are Christians
and 41% are Muslims from which 60% are Shia (Fiqeh Jafria). Muslims majority
are of Fiqeh Maliki and they have faith and affections with Ahlaibat (as) (Family
of holy Prophet pbuh.
In the list
of oil reserved Nigeria is on 10th position and the 6th
biggest oil exporter of the world. from 1800-1960 it was ruled by British
colonial system and got independence in 1960.From the Government survey there
are 2 crore SHIA population in the country and they are settle in the city of ZARIA,
KADONA, LAGOS, ABUJA.

Biography

Ibrahim Zakzaky was born on 05 may 1953 in the city of ZARIA. sheikh Ibrahim
Zakzaky from 1971 -1975 learn Arabic from the SCHOOL OF ARABIC STUDIES (SAS),
during his studies he used to take fulfil the responsibility of leading congregational
prayers.in 1979 he gets master’s degree in Economics from AHMADLU UNIVERSITY interestingly
he gets the degree in 1st class (division).
In 1977 he
joined the MUSLIMS STUDENT SOCIETY and in short period in 1977 he become the
General Secretary of the Society (MSS). And about it sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky
himself used to say that” In 1878 I was part of MSS and our desire and targets
was that there should be Islamic rules and laws in the country”.
From his
younger age whatever he learned he used to first implement it on himself and
then teach and invite others to follow it that is why from the young age due to
his moral highness he got famous amongst the people.
FAMILY LIFE

Ibrahim Zakzaky wife name is MOALIMA ZINAH IBRAHIM, he was having nine children
from which seven sons (Ahmad, Hameed, Hamad, Muhammad, Hamid, Mahmood and Ali)
and two daughters (Naeeba and Sohaila) from which 6 sons got martyr in the hand
of Nigerian army now he is left with one son (ALI) and two daughters.
Meeting with Imam Khomeini
In 1978 when
imam Khomeini was in France at that time his was 25 of age, he went to France
and met imam Khomeini there. this meeting changed his life and thoughts and in
1979 after the Islamic revolution of Iran he reached QUM city to learn the
teaching of Al-Muhammad. sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky he says “in 1980 I came Iran on
the first anniversary of the revolution, then my thought and life got rapidly
changed”. sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky was first belonged to the Fiqah-Maliki but
after he met with imam Khamenei he accepts fiqeh jaffaria and lately announces
about it.
ACTIVITIES OF sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky
In qoum
after learning the teaching of Al-Muhammad he went back to Nigeria and started
different activities .he established ISLMIC MOVEMENT OF NIGERIA (IMN) .IMN used
to do lots of social and cultural activities
amongst Muslims it is having lot of popularity due to these activities even Christians
are well known about it.In Nigeria and neighbour countries it established more
than 300 MADRASAS and became the member of AHL AL-BAYT WORLD FORUM .to take
care of the widows and children’s of martyrs it established AL-SHOHADA
INSTITUTE 1992 ,for social and development he formed AL ZAHRA CHARITY INSTITUTE
IN 2010, for medical and educational services
AL-TABIAH INSTITUTE was formed .
SHIA – SUNNI UNITY WORKS
He was the
biggest flag holder of Shia Sunni unity. you would get amazed that there
is no Shia mosque in Nigeria, having large Shia population, he did not construct
even one mosque for Shia that is practical example of how much sincere he was
with his words.
He believed
that Shia and Sunni should not be separate or divide themselves as it is
against the teaching of Islam and nowadays our enemies are working to divide us.
To bring unity amongst Muslims he used to send gifts to homes of all Muslims
and used to give dory for the marriage of Muslims girls, he used to meet the captives
of jail and used to bring gifts for them. sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky said about his
Islamic teaching and activities “from the end of 1979 and the start of 1980
when I started Islamic teaching so at that time there were few followers of
FIQAH JAFARIA but after the hardworking of years only in Nigeria there are more
than one crore well-wishers and believers of AH AL-BAIT and follower of FIQAH JAFARIA”.

Ibrahim Zakzaky always used to be praising GOD, he is that much popular that even
non-Muslims (Christians) used to come to make their prayers acceptance from
GOD.
BLOODY DAY OF AL-QUDS
In Ramadan 2014,
last Friday of the month on the order of imam khumani a peaceful protest was led
by sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky against the brutality of ISRAEL and to show
solidarity with Palestinian but the Nigerian army attack protester in which
many young men and women get martyr, amongst them there were three son of sheikh
Ibrahim Zakzaky (Ahmad, Mahmood and Hameed) Ali Zakzaky the 4th son
was also present there and get injured in the protest. After this tragedy
incident he was interviewed by Arab TV channel that your three sons got martyr?
sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky answered in this rally not only my sons are martyr but
they also killed many youngster of other parents too.
ZARIA MASSACRE 2015
On 13 December
2015, Sunday, in the imam bargah of BAQYATULLAH an event on the day of shahada
of Imam Raza(as) was going on, BAQYATULLAH Is in the neighbour of sheikh
Ibrahim Zakzaky home, in it there were thousands of men and women were present
and suddenly Nigerian military attack the innocent and armless people of the
event .in this attack more than 1000 men women and children get martyr.
according to some reports the Nigerian army raped women’s in the attacked.
After BAQYATULLAH the Nigerian military attack the home of sheikh Ibrahim
Zakzaky and he get four bullets in his body and his wife also get bucket in her
body and in this attacked they burn alive the sister of sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and
many Ahl-e-sunnat also get martyr in defending sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky. After
this attack sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife who was badly injured, despite
this Nigerian military arrest them and send them to unknown detention centre.
ORDERS OF HIGH COURT
On 2 December
2016 the high court of Abuja gave order to release sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and
his wife in 45 days but despite the order his is in detention till now .16 January
2017 amnesty gave a report that the 45 day of releasing order has been ended
and if the Nigerian army don not follow the order of high court then it is
showing that this act is against morality and it is dangers and it is a contempt
of rule of law.
On 18 September
2018 on the 39 session of human rights council of united nations in Geneva it was
filed as a crime against humanity and against the Nigerian army article 7
,12,13,15,17 and 53 Litigations
is running.
SHEIKH ZAKZAKY PRESENT MEDICAL CONDITIONS
In the
attack of December 2015 due to bullets hitting his one eye’s eyesight is
totally gone blind and the other is weak by 80% now he cannot even read a small
book without any aid.
From 2015
he got stork many times and the most dangers pint is that in his body the level
of led is quite high and it is on toxic level which is 20% more than the normal
human means acid in his body is very high ,according to the doctors either
there are bullets in his body or he is receiving poison .on April 2019 a team
of international doctors visit him in which two Indian doctors were also
present there who gave the suggestion of immediate foreign medical treatment in
a well-established hospital.
OUR DUTIES FOR SHEIKH ZAKZAKY
Firstly
we must share this message to others as much we can ,we should arrange peaceful
protest and walks chanting slogans of #FreeZakzaky .you should write a letter
to the Nigerian high commissioner in your country condemning this act of violence
and asking to free sheikh zakzaky amnesty international has already declared this
detention of sheikh zakzaky as illegal ,you must email and contact all human
organization of your country and delivered and make them aware about the issue because
it is the need of time that every human right organization should raise and force
Nigerian government to release Sheikh
Ibrahim Zakzaky .
One last
message to our youngster is to use #FreeZakzaky and published them on social
media specially Facebook and twitter and tag the high authorities.
